How does the bespoke process work?

We begin with a consultation about how the garment will be worn, then choose cloth and style details together. A full set of measurements is taken, a pattern is drafted to your posture, and the garment is cut and made in our own Bangkok workshop. Fittings follow until the balance, collar and cuff are right, and your pattern stays on file for future commissions.

How does the Visiting Tailor service work?

A tailor travels with cloth and swatch books and meets clients in their own city for consultation, measurement and fittings. Garments are then made in Bangkok. Register your city with us and we will contact you when a visit to your region is confirmed.

How long does delivery take?

Timing depends on the garment, the number of fittings and how busy the workshop is. Rather than publish a figure that may not hold, we confirm a realistic schedule with you in writing at the consultation, before any cloth is cut.

Do you ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

Yes — clients outside Thailand receive finished garments by courier, and repeat commissions can be arranged remotely once your pattern is on file. Tell us the destination country in your enquiry and we will confirm the carrier and cost for that address.

Are duties and taxes included?

Import duties and local taxes are set by the destination country and are not included in the guide prices shown on this site. We will confirm what applies to your delivery address before you commit to a commission.

What happens if an alteration is required?

Adjustments during the fitting stage are part of the commission, not an extra. If something needs attention later, bring or send the garment back to us and we will advise on what can be done; alteration work on a finished garment is quoted case by case.

Can you reproduce an existing garment?

In most cases, yes. Bring a garment whose fit or cut you like and we will take its details alongside your own measurements. A copy is never identical — cloth and construction differ — but the line and proportions can be followed closely.

How do I choose fabrics?

Cloth is chosen in the hand wherever possible, judged for weight, handle and drape against the climate you live in and how often the garment will be worn. Browse the Fabric Vault beforehand to narrow the field, then a tailor will put the shortlist in front of you at the consultation.

How many fittings are needed?

Accepted Answer

As many as the garment needs. A first commission usually takes more fittings than later ones, because your pattern is still being established. Once it is settled, repeat orders need far fewer.

Do you offer corporate and group tailoring?

Yes. We work with teams, wedding parties and companies who want a consistent cloth and cut across several people. Tell us the number of people, the city and the date in your enquiry and we will arrange the measuring session around it.
